Bears,

We are so excited to see you soon! We have new faces joining us this year and many returning from last year! Regardless, we are so happy you will be here soon.  Watch your mailbox as your letter with your classroom teacher’s name should arrive early next week!

Our Back to School Night will be held the night before school starts, Wednesday, August 12th, from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm. The PTA has a brief meeting as part of the Back to School Night festivities, we will all begin in the gym.  Our agenda is: introduction of staff, PTA will hold a brief meeting, discuss upcoming events, visit your classrooms, and PTA will offer treats starting at 4:45 pm on the playground. YUM!  Please bring your school supplies to drop off in your classroom when you meet your teacher. We also hope you will take the opportunity to sign up for PTA during our Back to School Night.

Important information:

• School Supply List (please let us know if you need assistance with supplies)

• Breakfast will be available in the cafeteria each day beginning at 7:30 am.  Please note that you are not able to bring your own breakfast to the cafeteria.

• Our building opens each day at 7:55 am.    

• School gets out at 2:50 pm each day. 

NEW ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL PATTERNS

It is critically important for students, parents, and staff safety that you familiarize yourself with our new arrival and dismissal information that is included in this letter.

We are asking that K - 3 and older siblings be dropped off in the front lane of the building and 4 - 6 grade students be picked up in the back. We are asking ALL parents to stay in their car and drive through the lanes in a “drive-thru” style.

If you need childcare before or after school, the process is now done online.  To register, go to the Bellevue Public School’s Foundation Website and register your child or children under the Kid’s Time Tab.
